New Mexico Server Sided Sirens

Installation

  1. Drag and drop the [nmexiosiren] folder into your server's resources folder.

  2. If you already have Raze_Core installed on your server, you can skip the next step.

  3. Drag and drop the Raze_Core folder into your server's resources folder.

  4. Make sure Raze_Core starts before any RazeScripts assets.

    ensure Raze_Core

Raze_Core is a dependency for RazeScripts assets.

You only need one copy of Raze_Core on your server, even if you own multiple RazeScripts products.

  1. Add the New Mexico siren pack to your server.cfg.

    ensure [nmexiosiren]

  2. Inside the [nmexiosiren] folder, locate SIREN.LUA.

Drag SIREN.LUA into your Luxart Vehicle Control folder where your current SIREN.LUA is located and replace the existing file.

That's it. Restart your server and you're done.

Setting Sirens

Towards the bottom of your siren config, you will see something similar to this:

-------------LSPD--------------
['DEFAULT'] = {15, 16, 17, 18},

-------------LSSD--------------
['DEFAULT'] = {23, 24, 25, 26},

-------------BCSO--------------
['DEFAULT'] = {15, 16, 17, 18},

-------------SAHP--------------
['DEFAULT'] = {42, 43, 44, 45, 46},

-------------SAFR--------------
['DEFAULT'] = {12, 14, 13, 11},

-------------Unmarked--------------
['DEFAULT'] = {42, 43, 44, 45, 46},

-------------Staff--------------
['DEFAULT'] = {19, 20, 21, 22, 23},

To assign a certain siren set to a specific vehicle, replace DEFAULT with the vehicle's GAMENAME.

You must use the vehicle's GAMENAME, not the spawn name.

The GAMENAME can be found inside the vehicle's vehicles.meta.

You will need to do this for every vehicle you want to configure individually.

For example, if I wanted Police1 to use the siren set:

['Police1'] = {15, 16, 17, 18},

For this set:

  • 15 = Horn
  • 16 = Wail
  • 17 = Yelp
  • 18 = Warning Siren

You should not need to mix and match the siren numbers unless you specifically want to.

For example, you could give a vehicle a horn from one siren set, a warning siren from another, and different wail and yelp tones by changing the individual siren IDs.

Example:

['Police1'] = {15, 24, 17, 26},

Only do this if you intentionally want to mix sirens from different sets.

You can also configure multiple vehicles under the same section:

-------------State Police--------------
['Police1'] = {15, 16, 17, 18},
['Police2'] = {15, 16, 17, 18},
['Police3'] = {15, 16, 17, 18},

If a vehicle is not specifically listed, it will use the DEFAULT siren configuration for that section.
