ERS Integration

When night_ers is installed and running, Raze-NPCAI can pass supported actions directly into ERS.

Supported ERS-related actions include:

  • Hands up
  • Kneeling
  • Arresting / cuffing
  • Uncuffing
  • Searching
  • License and registration requests
  • Releasing the NPC
  • Placing the NPC into the officer's vehicle

For example, saying:

I'm going to search you.

can trigger the actual ERS search interaction instead of only playing an animation.

ERS can also determine whether an NPC attempts to flee during certain interactions, such as being ordered out of a vehicle or being searched.

This allows some encounters to turn into pursuits instead of every NPC automatically complying.

Natural Voice Commands

These are spoken commands, not /commands.

You do not have to say the exact example phrase.

For example:

Alright man, go ahead and step out of the vehicle for me.

Raze-NPCAI can recognize the command inside the sentence and have the NPC respond while the conversation continues naturally.

Voice Command Requirements

Voice command detection requires the ElevenLabs user_transcript client event to be enabled.

Without transcript events:

  • NPC conversations can still work.
  • NPC voice responses can still work.
  • Spoken physical commands may not be detected.

Negation Handling

Raze-NPCAI includes negation handling to reduce accidental commands.

For example:

Don't put your hands up.

should not be treated the same as:

Put your hands up.

This helps prevent commands from triggering simply because a recognized phrase was mentioned during normal conversation.
